Keno is a game of chance with a rich and acclaimed history. The game that we know and love has undergone remarkable changes since its initial appearance. Gambling historians have followed its history as far back as 200 B.C. to a Chinese type of amusement called ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It is a well-documented certainty that a style of keno was played in a bingo-like arrangement on the eastern seaboard just about the time of the massive Chinese immigration during the gold rush.
In its current style, keno is something like bingo in that the pair of games are centered upon numbers. A single keno card is printed with 80 numbers and the player shall choose as many as s/he would like. This is completed by marking them using a pencil. After the player has checked off the numbers, he must bring the card back to the clerk at the keno stand. The clerk will then provide a ticket after recording the gambler’s numbers. It’s the responsibility of the player to trade in any winning ticket before the upcoming round starts, so stragglers must keep alert.
Now that we have reviewed some of of keno’s compelling background and basic rules of game play, you are probably itching to discover where you can wager on keno on the internet. And that is just a reasonable thing for an eager keno gambler. Be assured you have a lot of choices to pick from when it is time for some big-time online keno action with all the thrills you expect.
