Keno is a game of luck with a rich and acclaimed history. The game that we know and love has experienced incredible changes since its original inception. Gambling historians have followed its history as far back as 200 Before Christ to a Chinese form of amusement referred to as ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It’s a well-recorded certainty that a type of keno was played in a bingo-like arrangement on the eastern seaboard just around the time of the huge Chinese immigration at the time of the gold rush.
In its current style, keno is something like bingo in that both games are based upon numbers. A single keno card is printed with 80 numbers and the player will pick as many as s/he wants. This is accomplished by circling or otherwise marking the numbers using a pencil. After the bettor has checked off the numbers, he has to bring the card back to the nice person at the keno booth. The cashier will then issue a slip after marking down the gambler’s numbers. It’s the responsibility of the gambler to redeem any winning card before the the next round begins, so stragglers have to stay alert.
Now that we have covered some of of keno’s fascinating background and basics of game play, you are probably chomping at the bit to find out where you can bet on keno on the internet. And that is just a reasonable thing for an avid keno gambler. Rest assured you have a good many choices to choose from when it is time for some big-time online keno excitement with all the fervor you expect.
